Helping Students Learn More & Earn More

Good habits start young: Cinfed sets students up for success.

When young people learn financial skills, they handle money better as adults. We offer products and programs designed to build that crucial knowledge.

Just a few ways we're helping students grow up and grow money:

Scholarship
Louis M. Brown/Cinfed Credit Union Memorial Scholarship

Since 2000, Cinfed has awarded more than $300,000 in scholarships to help local students cover the cost of their college education. The scholarships honor the late Louis M. Brown, who served on Cinfed’s board of directors for nearly 40 years. A graduate of Xavier University, Mr. Brown believed deeply in the power of education. Cinfed established these scholarships in his memory.

Recipients must be Cinfed members and pursuing secondary education.

Applications for the 2024 scholarship program are now closed. Scholarship recipients will be announced at Cinfed’s annual meeting on June 4.
